The HBCU Grid project is designed to support the creation of renewal energy projects on HBCU campuses and international partnerships between HBCU’s, MI’s and international institutions.  Planned technologies include solar, wind, biofuel, geothermal, waste and LED lighting.  Benefits of the program include:

• Training programs for solar installers and designers supports economic development
